Journal Entry 1 by CheriePie from Campbell, California USA on Thursday, July 7, 2005
This is the fifth book in Janet Evanovich's Full series.

From back cover:
The temperature's on "sizzle" again in Beaumont, South Carolina, where peach trees are in season and ripe for the picking. So is its newest entrepreneur, Annie Fortenberry, who has inherited her grandmother's B&B (and its eccentric handyman Erdle Thorney). According to a local psychic she also inherited a spirit from its glory days as a brothel--not the kind of publicity the Peach Tree Bed & Breakfast needs if it's hosting millionare Max Holt's upcoming wedding! If rumors of a naughty, prank-playing ghost aren't stressful enough, a mysterious man has arrived with an eye on Annie and her master suite. Wes Bridges is all leather and denim, sporting a two-day beard, straddling a Harley, and sending the B&B's testosterone level through the roof. Annie's cool demeanor may be dropping as fast as Wes's jeans, but leave it to her missing ex-husband to dampen the passion! Turns out someone has done him in, and all evidence points to Annie! Wrapped up in a murder plot, Annie must find the killer, save her own neck, and get back to where she was--wrapped up in Wes's strong loving arms...

We guarantee that you're going to have as much fun reading Full Bloom as we had writing it! (Even if we were surprised by the ending!) And you won't want to miss the hair-raising shenanigans when Fleas, the hound dog, meets the most cantankerous, snooty, bad-tempered, twenty-two-pound orange cat...

I liked this book, though perhaps not quite as much as Full Blast, the 4th book right before this one. Still, a few laugh-out-loud moments and scenes that stay with me for a while and make me chuckle even then is how I determine the mark of a good book, and in that regard, this book certainly did not disappoint. I went through the entire book thinking I knew who the murderer was only to be surprised by a twist ending so I appreciated that.

This book will be starting it's journey as a bookring very shortly...

  • The above list order may be modified at any time to accomodate new participants or those who wish to leave the ring. So you should always refer to the list included in this journal entry before mailing the book out after you've finished with it.
  • After messaging the next person in the list for their address, allow at least a week for a reply (to allow for vacations). You may want to send more than one PM if they don't reply to the first one since I've experienced firsthand issues of BookCrossing PM's not being delivered. In Search Of (ISO) posts in the Bookring Forum also work well. If they haven't replied after 1 to 1-1/2 weeks, skip them and move on to the next person in the list.
  • Please post a journal entry here (1) when you first receive the book so we all know it has arrived safely, and (2) after you've finished reading it and are ready to send it along. Of course, please include your thoughts and opinions on the book itself too. :)
  • For courtesy sake, please try not to hang on to this book for more than 4-6 weeks as others are also waiting to read it. If you don't think you can get to the book in that timeframe, you can request to be skipped over and added to the end of the ring instead. Just use your best judgement so as not to hold up the book.
  • I will continue to accept participants to this bookring even after it has begun it's journey. Newcomers will be either added to the end or else inserted in the most efficient place to keep shipping costs and times most efficient. I can't guarantee that shipping preferences can be honored after the book has started it's journey, so if you're joining the ray after it's started, you should be prepared to ship Internationally if required.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTES:
Do not assume that surface shipping is always the most efficient choice. For many International destinations from the US, a single paperback can be shipped in a small Global Priority Mail (GPM) envelope for only $5, about $1 more than surface mail to the same destination. And rather than the 4-6 weeks quoted shipping time of surface mail (often longer), GPM takes only 3-5 days and includes a delivery confirmation number too. I suggest that you consider this shipping option when mailing overseas from the US. Alternately, regular air mail is often not much more than surface mail either, for some countries, the difference is as little as 45 cents!

Finished reading it last night and it was great! It was so funny and had a great plot. I was very surprised in the end to find out who the murderer was. Thanks for making this a bookring CheriePie :) I'll be giving it to the next reader RainDrop162004 the next time I see her which will most likely be sometime this week.

I love Janet Evanovich! She never fails me when it comes to her books! The "Full" series is one of my faves of hers, other than the Stephanie Plum novels.
I was stuck between two people for the killer, and in the end was wrong on one of them, but got the other right. LoL.
Thanks for including me in this bookring, it was an awesome book!!!

Will be sending out to the next person within a few days...

Journal Entry 12 by timollie5502 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA on Sunday, October 9, 2005
This was a cute story. I had gotten attached to Jamie and Max as main characters in this series, though, and was suprised to see them playing such a small role. But I also enjoyed Annie and Wes! Hope to see more of them all in other 'Full' books!

Mailed on to the next person on 10/10/05.

I very much appreciate the opportunity though! Thank you for sharing!

I received this yesterday from yllus in VA ... as part of this bookring.

c. 2005 -- 344 pages -- Paperback -- #5 in Full series (Full House / Full Tilt / Full Speed / Full Blast / Full Bloom) -- 1 week on the USA Today top-10 Bestseller list (#9 on 4/10/05)

I finished reading this today. As with the other books in the Full series, this is quite a comical, fun book. Sometimes unbelievably funny. I missed Max and Jamie as main characters ... but the reunion with Nick and Billie made up for it. And of course, there's never a dull moment around Dee Dee and Frankie. Now Wes and Annie have joined this fun group.

I have lisabb2 address, so will be mailing this soon.

I had a fun time reading this one! I like this series, although I wasn't crazy about it at first. I was happy that this one involved all the same characters, but centered around Annie instead of Max & Jamie. This was pure hilarity with all the mishaps and outbursts! And, as always, a good mix of romance and mystery!

Mailed to Tanya04 on 2/28/06.

Another great book in the series. This time set before, during and after Max and Jamies wedding. Great new and old characters and a funny story.

This looks like it may have gotten lost in the postal system so CheriePie has asked me to post here who I mailed it to. As far as I can remember it was to VodkaFairy who was next in line for it. Ususally if I skip a person I try to journal that. If it was travelling abroad it would have been sent surface so it may still be en-route.
