Winner of the GG Award. Lots and Lots of Buzz. Am glad to see Miriam Toews is finally getting the recognition she deserves. Louise Simard Young first recommended Summer of My Amazing Luck to me and I loved A Boy of Good Breeding. After moving to Rosthern( a small mennonite community) I've been told A Complicated Kindness is a must read.(signed)

Toews is a remarkable writer! It amazes me that a grown woman can get inside the head of a teenager. She tell a heartbreaking story that might be all too common in the community she grew up in.
