An intriguing and enthralling, unputdownable (is that a word?) read. Plenty of unexpected twists as is usual with Robert Goddard so that by the end the book is quite different from what it seemed at the beginning.

Being taken to the meet-up at the Great Expectations in Reading tonight for the live bookswap.
I picked up this book at a BC meeting in Reading about 18 months ago. I’ve just got around to reading it.
On the whole I found it an intriguing story and well written, although I must say that I didn’t have much sympathy for the lead character (maybe I’m not supposed to).
I will be passing this on to a friend
