Darwin's Children is the follow-up to Darwin's Radio and it is probably a good idea to read them in sequence, as much of the background for Darwin's Children is found in the earlier book. In Darwin's Children we meet an older Stella Nova, daughter of geneticist Kaye Lang and archaeologist Mitch Rafelson. Stella is one of the so-called 'virus children' - genetically enhanced children that were born to mothers infected with the SHEVA virus. The family has been hiding from a government that wants to put the 'virus children' in special 'schools' that are essentially concentration camps.

Bought this book in Balcova, Izmir, Turkey, and read it while I was here. Planning to release the book before I leave Turkey.
