I love this book! if you want to read something that will rough up your ideas about education this is the book to read. Maybe I'm a little cynical about the rigid choices educators make when trying to develop the canon of must read traditional literature for school kids but why not? Why not take the systems choices and shoot them out of the canon so to speak? Anyway dear reader you may find the ideas in this book a bit dated but remember revolution is cyclical. Maybe it's time, maybe it's time....hmmmmm?
