I really loved this book! I could identify with the main character really well, I also had a "summer sister". I'm sending this off to Newf on payday, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! :)

I really enjoyed this book, which I read while travelling. This is the first adult book by Judy Blume that I've read and I was pleasantly surprised.

The characters are well developed, and I like the brief glimses from different characters' points of view. This style allows you to get into the heads of different people and better understand their actions. The story was touching, and I enjoyed following the coming of age of Vix and Caitlin's extended families.
