I had not read anything from Holden Scott before I read The Carrier. Overall, I would say it was a good read. At times, it was predictable. Some of the characters were stereotypical and static. However, it was a decent story and kept my interest once I was able to overlook these minor problems.

My best friend sent this book to me. I was very eager to read it because we tend to enjoy reading the same books. As usual, she didn't disappoint me. This was a "quick read" - easy to read and exciting. It would make a great action movie. Although I do read Michael Crichton books, this was more appealing to me because Mr. Scott did not smother us with too many technical terms. He included what was relevant. The Carrier receives a "thumbs up" from me, and I plan on reading his other book, Skeptic, too. This book is going to visit my brother-in-law on the other side of the Mississippi River next week. I am curious about what he will think of it. Thanks for loaning this book to me my dear Missouri friend!

This book did not have the greatest ending in the world - just kind of ended. I wonder if he is planning on writing a sequel??????
