Journal Entry 3 by SiskaGh from Ixelles / Elsene, Bruxelles / Brussel Belgium on Thursday, September 22, 2005
HOW I CAUGHT THE BOOK
While travelling around Australia by campervan, I came across the book at a public phone next to the camping in Noosa where we were staying at that time. I returend to that same phone several times to make calls home (Belgium), and I got more and more intrigued by this book laying in the telephone boot next to me. So before finally leaving, I checked out what it actually was, and I loved the BookCrossing idea right away, so I decided to be the book's host for some time, and I brought it with me to Belgium.

WHAT I THOUGHT OF THE BOOK
At first sight (cover and 1ste pages), the book seemed to me some kind of plain detective story, and I didn't feel very appealed by it right away. But because reading the book is actually part of this entire system, I felt obliged to read it, and after having read the first 10 pages, I couldn't put it down for quite some time, and I ended up finishing it in 2 evenings of reading. The book positively surprised me, and I would definitel recommend reading to to other people.

WHERE I LEFT IT
After having taken the book from Australia to Belgium with me, I left it behind in Schiphol, the Amsterdam International Airport, on my way to Iceland on September 21, 2005. I left it on a small table in the general waiting area of the airport between the "Communication Center" and the "Meditarranean Sandwich Bar". When I checked on it again 20 minutes later, it was already gone, so I hope somebody else is enjoying the book by now, and will leave it somewhere at an interesting place as well.
