From the second hand bookshop we descended on en masse during the 2005 BCNZ Convention.

This is a very strange copy of this book - the quality of the print inside looks like a bad photocopy, and although it says inside it was published by Penguin, the penguin on the logo on the back cover is facing the wrong way, and it says "Penguine" next to it. Hmmm, cheap rip-off copy, methinks?

Yes, this book does look very much like a "burnt-copy" of the book. Who ever thought the pirates would move on from CDs?
Nevertheless, I read this a few years ago and enjoyed it, even used to own a copy until I leant it to someone and it was never returned.
Entertaining stuff and perfect travel reading.
Thanks FutureCat! It was great to be on a Trivia team with you.

Sped through this in a lazy afternoon at my parent's house. As funny as I remembered.
Sending it to a beautiful girl in a beautiful part of the world to share with other travellers!

sent to me from felicia-fairy, plans to release in galway before leaving ireland next week. parts cracked me up and parts shit me to tears - example? ( as demanded by Samuel L Jackson Pulp Fiction)

chapter when Dave was sick was gold. sounded a bit evil but still gold. but Dave himself was a bit of a tosser and Liz was too! I cant imagine travelling with either of them!
I have always been afraid of India and this book only supports my fear, what a crazy place - I shall leave it to others on their spiritual quests of enlightenment, armed with the Lonely Planet and fishermans pants...
