I already read this book, but it was for my bookgroup. It will offically be ready for sending on June 16th even though i leave for vacation on that day.

I look up and only see shadow. But i know who it is. He backs out of the shed and the sun pours down on my face.
He smiles.
We both sit down under a big leafy bush, half burnt by the sun. We sit there looking off into the pond, not even talking. It gets to be so quiet, I start to think I can hear his mom running water in her kitchen sinke to wash dishes.
But that can't be. It's just me wanting to hear the everyday stuff again.
"Ethan," he says.
"Bird," I say.
He smiles again, picks up a pebble, and throws it off into the field, then says,
"Bird. Bird."
And when he says my name, I see Cecil in his eyes.

I thought this book was a little confusing but all in all pretty good.
