The Back of the Book

New York Times bestselling author Christina Dodd, whose first contemporary novel Just the Way You Are was hailed as 'lively, sexy ... nothing short of a success' (Publishers Weekly), presents her new novel featuring the Prescott sisters.

As the middle child, Pepper Prescott's rebellious nature helped her survive when her parents disappeared and she and her siblings were sent to different foster homes around the country. Now an independent young woman, Pepper find herself on the run after witnessing a shooting. Fearing for her life, Pepper flees to the only place she ever considered home and is shocked to find her old lover, Dan Graham, living on the remote mountain ranch. A battle-hardened ex-Special Forces soldier, Dan no longer strikes Pepper as a man she cant rust with her secrets, her life, and her love. But as long-simmering desires flare into a deep, sensual passion, Pepper realises the only way she can reclaim her life is to ally herself with the enigmatic warrior who's willing to help fight for her future by solving the mysteris of her past - and making her his wife today.

i just found this book on a table outside beanscene cafe, woodlands rd, glasgow, and saw the bookcrossing label so I thought I'd take it... Well i've read the back of the book, the prologue and the first 2 chapters, and that's about as much as I can bear because it's utter shite...
oh yeah, I also opened it at a random page and saw the words "her nipples were so hard they could cut glass"...
I'll leave this book out somewhere pretty soon so someone else can have a go... Whoever finds it, read this book at your peril !!!!

ps the 2 stars are because this is the first book-crossing book I ever picked up, and I enjoyed slagging it off.

This book was left on a table in the main hall of the student union building at stirling University, during a conference of the Scottish Association for Music Education (http://www.same.org.uk/). The hall was very busy with lots of commercial exhibition stands advertising their instruments and products. The slogan I added to the cover was 'READING SUCKS'.
