hey, that was a real surprise!! It came with the other two books you sent me! I'm sure it's gonna be interesting to read, since I like philosophy! I studied it for 5 years in high school and I reckon it opens up your mind!!!
Well... Finally the book made it to the top of my extremely long list of books to be read, and I must say it caught up my attention! Actually I studied philosophy for over 5 years in high-school, and I really like the subject, especially when it dealt about Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy! I recommend you to read this book, also because it's TINY, it's only 60 pages long and about the size of a wallet, can you believe it? heheh It perfectly fits in your jeans'pocket when you're off to work and need something to thumb in the tube to start another day!!!

The actual title of this little book is "Sophie's World: the Greek Philosophers"...
"Sophie's World: A Novel About the History of Philosophy" (544 pages!!!) is a different book by the same author which I almost hated! I tried to read it when I was at highschool... I read about 1/3 of the book and I got really bored... I didn't like the way he tried to give the informations about philosophy through some stupid story... Maybe the story wasn't that good for me, maybe philosophy can't be disguised into a novel... That's only my point of view anyway.
This book was nice and realy informative! A quick presentation of the major Greek philosophers. Just the gist!
