Journal Entry 1 by millycat from Northampton, Northamptonshire United Kingdom on Friday, May 20, 2005
An eccentric elderly writer moves from the family home to an isolated dilapidated mansion on the coast to write her memoirs. Then she disappears, leaving her children to squabble over who she treasted worst & what's in the will. "A highly enjoyable read... Frieda is an absolute triumph. The reader should be behind her all the way" Spectator

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
I found this book at Salcey Forest Cafe. I haven't previously read any books by Margaret Drabble and have no desire to read any more by her as I found this book too "wordy" and very boring at times. I hope to leave this book somewhere in Broadway, Worcestershire and hope that the next reader will enjoy it more than I did. But Bookcrossing is a very good idea and gives the opportunity to read books that the reader may not have previously come across. 16th July 2005
