Uris´s classic fictionalized account of the creation of the modern state of Israel.
Edited after reading to say that it was interesting to read for the various maneuverings and developments during the creation of the country, but very much like a history lesson. The overall rating went down because the characters seemed to have been created just to fit in with the author´s points, instead of being fully-fledged in their own rights. Not a light read.
