I was really looking forward to this book, however, I was concerned it would too similar to The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-time.I think because I had this in the back of my mind, this very nearly didn't work for me, but the last 50 pages or so the pace jumped and I really got into it. I'd like to say more but as Mirp said it would be too easy to spoli it for the others!

A good read.

I've pm'd juicy for his/her address.

The book was completely different from what I expected and I'm glad because it was wonderful. I wouldn't even know what to say about it if I did want to spoil it for someone else - just that the author continuously spits out little plot points to keep the characters from ever growing dull. Good book.

I'll have it sent in the mail tomorrow.

Caught at bcie meetup in dublin some moons ago. My apologies for not journaling this earlier. Things been extremely hectic in last half of 2006! Would love to read this, but personal TBR pile to high and need to get that done first, so am happily setting this free to a good home!

I have to disagree with sunlightbulb, I didn't see this as anything like The Curious Incident....but maybe it's because I work with children with Asperger Syndrome as the boy in that book had and I'm very familiar with the differences between that and a child with an emotional disturbance. I found this to be a very interesting book and I enjoyed the read. I did figure out Gustav pretty quickly, though. Interesting concept.

Planning on releasing this somewhere in Cork on Sunday for our BCIE day out! :)
