This book looks at a number of areas that particularly influence the preparation and interpretation of a message, and at how communication is applied in the workplace.

The interactive topics that are addressed in detail within the individual chapters are also aspects of learning outcomes within modules in Technical and Further Education (TAFE) level courses throughout Australia.

The main aim of this book is as a text for communication modules within the TAFE level of Australia education. Not only are the basic areas of communication addressed but also the areas of Writing workplace Documents, Presenting Reports, Presenting Information and Negotiation Skills.

The book can also be used solely in the workplace as a guide for workplace communication.
