One of many books I am sending fellow bookcrossers who offered to take a bag or box of books when my local library intended to dump 'unwanted' books left over from their library sale because they couldn't find a charity to take them!
Rescued from the shame of seeing the inside of a dumpster!!!

Well dressed, quite handsome, unfailingly polite and charming, who would guess Henderson Dores has a guilty secret....
Underneath his gentle English diffidence burns teh canker of shyness, and New York, where he now is, is no place for a shrinking violet. Clearly, Henderson must get his head round his problem.
Sent south to the sunbelt by his art-dealer firm on a delicate mission to persuade millionaire Loomis Gage to part with his priceless collection of Impressionists, Henderson encounters increasingly comic, grotesque and deeply embarrassing failures in his ability to 'relate'. Until that glorious, absurd, born-again moment when, back in Fifth Avenue, he jogs nakedly into redemption.

My husband finished reading this last night and said it was really good. It must have been good since it didn't take him as long to read as some other (even smaller) books recently.
Since I have too much to read already, and it doesn't look like something I would read, I've offered this up on bookrelay.
