Read this for research on a project. It's a quick read, and comes to some different conclusions than you'll find in what is considered to be the more definitive Wilde biography by Richard Ellman.

It's a relatively engaging read. Pearce, as a biographer of Christian authors, centers upon religion and morality in this exploration of Wilde's life and literary work - ultimately seeking to forgive Wilde his addict lifestyle. I'm now interested in reading the more standard Ellman biography, in order to understand the difference of opinion.
