Sex, Lies And Vampires (Paranormal Romance)

This was pretty good, but the first book in the series was the best. While on one hand I like that she makes her heroines imperfect, I think she goes overboard a little too much. The last heroine had a severe limp and this one has one whole side of her body partially paralized so she limps a bit too and cannot use the muscles in one side of her face. What's next - a quadriplegic who likes oral sex?

Thanks!
I really enjoyed this book, it was funny and had likeable characters but I have to agree that the author is going a little far out with the women's physical imperfections considrening all the physical feats they have to perform.

Sending to SchoolinAtHome as part of the Bookrelayers Bookmates (November)! Happy Reading!
Thanks noumena...I have heard of this author but never read anything from her. I guess from what you all have said I will need to get the first 2 books first before reading this one.
I offered this to loneflower on the reverse wishlist relay.
I have sooo many TBR's and I thought she would probably get to read it before I did.
I mailed it on 1/23/06

Just got this in the mail today. Thanks a lot for sending it. I read the first book in this series some time ago and found it strange, but still I thought this author was worth taking another look at. It's going to my TBR stack for about a week, while I finish reading Undead and Unappreciated by MaryJanice Davidson. I will journal again to say whether I liked it or not.
