Started reading - loving it.

A wonderful story that while only set between a small number of years in the life of Henry James actually covers much more than that. Colm Toibin manages to get inside the mind of James and illustrates how events in James' life made it in to his novels. More strikingly is the number of characters who are very similar to people in James' life. Wonderfully written - there were a few slow parts at the start but that didn't last for long. Definately worth reading (even if you don't like James like myself).
