An excellent book. I thought it sounded familiar as I was reading it, but then I realized this is part of a series and I must have read another book in the series. I would definitely read more of the series. The story was interesting - a murder mystery set amidst a polygamous splinter group solved by a female sheriff in rural Arizona. There was also a message about adopting animals from shelters (rather than buying). With so many adoptable animals being killed due to lack of space, I am thrilled to see this message anywhere.
