Hey, Nostradamus !
4 journalers for this copy...
A earlier one from the writer of Eleanor Rigby (which I sent to andrea1982). From the back cover: "Cheryl Anway, 17, secretly married to her high-school sweetheart and pregant, doodles 'God is nowhere, God is now here' on her class binder. Hours later, clutching the same binder, she is shot dead..."
Being sent to bluenoser as part of bookrelay. Enjoy!
This just arrived in my mailbox - thanks so much hunnyb. This will be my first Douglas Coupland and I'm looking forward to finally reading a book by this Canadian.
At first I thought this was just a vaguely disguised novel about the school shooting tragedy in Columbine, but having read the notes at the back I see the similarity is intentional.
It is cleverly written through the lives, thoughts and journals of 4 main characters in this tragic story. The ending leaves the reader with a glimpse of hope - oh, and a need to hug your kids every day. Thanks hunnyb.

Sending to MollyGrue via "Yet Another Reverse Wish List" relay. Wrapping it up tonight to pop into the mail in the morning.
I'm looking forward to reading this. Thanks!
Simply loved it. :) I like Douglas Coupland's style of writing and just loved this book which could be taken as essays on how individuals deal with faith.
