This is a quick read, compelling in parts and generally worthwhile.

I was given the book by a very hip lady in a beauty parlor. I prefer long, twisted plots and mysteries with surprise endings. This book was different from other Grisham books I have read and thoroughly enjoyed. However, "Bleachers" evoked some tears and is, as usual, well written. I almost expected Neely to become the next coach or move back home to be with friends. I guess that's the surprise.
