A good story in which I was able to feel some sympathy for all the characters. However, though for a first novel it's superb I can't see why it made the Booker shortlist. It's good but nothing special and for me doesn't stand out at all.
A good read though and I'm sure others will enjoy it.

Fascinated by the idea of seeing in colour but mildly disappointed in the end as the story was a little too predictable. But a good read and well-written
