Just started the book. I like it thus far. I am even more excited about this bookcrossings enterprise than I am about any individual book. I am intrigued that the giver of the book placed this intensely antiwar book on a monument across from Parliament Square in London. I brought the book home with me to Vancouver, Washington (so it has already made at least one crossing, so to speak, acorss the Atlantic and to the West Coast of the U.S.) I teach English--both composition and literature, and my own area of specialization is literaure about race in America! Thank you, so much, chelseagirl!
