Bought for 50p in a Bedford charity shop. To read and probably release at christmas time.
Sweet, but overall it read like a children's story wrapped up in a slightly clumsy educational framework. Assumes complete ignorance of history, theology and geography from the reader. Also has a wonky denouement.

Picked up this book today 18/01/06 in Stamford Arms - my FIRST bookcrossing book! Enjoying it at the moment, and up to 6th December, although a bit formulaic - each chapter is too similar. Will wait and see. I love the time travel a year at a time - most time travel books jump suddenly.

Finished the book quite a while ago but just now updating the entry before releasing the book.

I stand by the former comments - the book was a little too predictable in the format - each chapter more or less similar to the previous one. Nevertheless the concept was fascinating and unusual - I especially liked the concept of travelling through time at an even pace, as well as travelling through space at the same time, and the resulting reports of sightings by people in different locations in different years. Quite a moving ending too. Would be most suitable for children.

Selected this off the shelf in the Stanford Arms. Will read it soon although it's a bit unseasonal!
