I read and enjoyed this book pre-bookcrossing - a chilling tale of the 2nd World War in France in May 1944 - a time of international tension when nothing is certain. I remember it being a bit blood thirsty in parts but a darn good read.

Not my usual kind of book at all, but I was immediatly gripped. A real page turner, but I didn't much care for the description of various torture methods. Good escapism.
