This is my third book by Paul Auster, and maybe the one I preferred until now. The first half of the book is good, but the second half becomes really excellent. I like the way Paul Auster pictures a relationship, how you can feel totally lost although you know you love your partner, how you sometimes just have to trust and respect the person you love, without wanting to receive any explanation.
I offered the book in the "Good Fairy" reverse wish list relay to fulfill one of JenLuvsBooks's wishes.

Thanks for the book Kundri. I hope to get to it soon. Thanks also for the postcard. I love getting postcards from foreign countries!
There were many stories within the story. The long footnotes annoyed me a bit but did provide good backstory. The ending was exciting but a bit predictable. Overall there were some good messages here. I wish I understood the significance of Mr. Chang and the blue notebook.
I'm mailing this out to be including in an M-bag for Cats-eye.
