Joanna and her husband move with their children to the "perfect" town of Stepford. The men are all successful and satisfied. The women are perfect. Maybe a little too perfect...

Overall it was a good book. Joanna moves to the "perfect" town of Stepford where she finds out that the women are really robots because their husbands want them to be perfect. In the end Joanna is made into a robot, but unlike the movie version her husband likes her that way. In the movie her husband saves her, as well as the other women in the town.
