I've had this book for a while but forgot to register it. I am starting it today.
This is a story of a young girl growing up in Iran. I have never read a book in this kind of format. I guess it is called a graphic book, sort of like a comic book. The story is a memoir of her coming of age. It is at once both witty and full of the tragedy of war. I enjoyed the story but not the format. I will read part 2 to find out what happens in Marji's life.
