Wow! This arrived very fast. Thank you so much KatFinnegan for passing this book along as a RABCK to me. I love audio books and look forward to hearing this one. I will make it avail. for further travels once I've heard it.

I listened to most of this audio book.... got up to the middle of disc 5. I had heard so much about this book that I think I expected more from it. I finally gave up when I stopped caring about what was going to happen next and found myself wondering how much longer it was going to take to listen to this one. I really wanted to like this book and kept trying to listen to see if it would grab me. I may try to read it again one day... maybe take it out of the library, but it just never grabbed my interest on this attempt. Thank you so much KatFinnegan for the opportunity to hear this book. I am passing it along as a relay now to cougmax. Hopefully this bookcrosser will enjoy it more than I did!

I too have heard raves about this book, and I am so excited to have new cd material for the car drive to work each day.

I agree with all previous journal entrys. I heard rave reveiws about this book. I expected way more from it! It was so boring. I forced myself to get through the seconed cd, but it just went from bad to worse, so I quit on it. The characters were so boring. I liked the going back in time memories of the best friends but the present Austen discussions were a waste. If I don't care about the characters why would I care to here about their opinion of Austen every two seconds. I have read all the Austen and love them already. The only character I even remotely cared about was the lesbian daughter just becuase she dared to be different and shake up the group! But, she to was whiny and boring by second CD.
I did pick up the book at the thrift, I will give it a 60 pg chance to see what everyone was raving about.
