Arrived in a box of books sent over by SerenitBlue, many thanks. I think it will be a very long time before I get around to reading it, so I am going to take it to the Havant meet-up tonight to swap or leave for the new OBCZ, so that it can start its travels in the UK.
Picked this up at the Havant meet last night. It's travels around the UK will be very short I'm afraid PurpleRosebud, as I'll be taking it back to Portugal with me :-)
Enjoyed this, but found it took me longer han expected to get through. Perhaps it was too many late nights over New Year!
Now available again, and I'll be taking it along if I make it to any meets this month.

Bright cover and the picture on the spine attracted me to it. It will be added with pleasure to the TBR pile that I unfortunately have growing.

This book seemed to take *forever* to read! I think it was me more than the book, though.
I liked the story, though it was a bit rambling at times, and there were a lot of loose ends to tie up in the final few chapters! I didn't fully understand the Paris reference at the end, but maybe that's because I'd forgotten bits of the story by the time I got there! I found some of the motives a bit bizarre, but as most of them were just "money", it seemed to make sense. There wasn't much interaction when we found out "whodunnit", either. But if there had have been, it would have taken me even longer to finish the book.
Not a bad book, but not one I'd jump to read again. I definitely prefer some of the other titles by Jonathan Kellerman.

I actually read this before Katie1980 snaffled it and journalled it!
I agree that the story seemed to go on for a while; slow and steady seemed to the theme of the investigation. There are some slightly faster points in the book, but only just.
Ultimately, there's no real twist in the tail - nothing deep and meaningful to explain the last 400+ pages except the greed of certain individuals. Slightly disappointing.
