Inside the jacket it starts, Keefe's job is that of an administrator, to help decide on policy and priorities, not to be a cop. But he carries a gun and a badge as part of his job; and then his own ambition and the Machiavellian intrigues of the brass plunge him into a situation where he is forced to use the gun.
I found the book quite intriguing and heartfelt many times over. I hope you, whomever discovers this book, finds it worth the read as well.
