Saw this on a trip to Galway, in the most wonderful bookshop in the world. I thought of HoserLauren and her wonderful fascination with Irish Football.

Ohhh a surprise, a surprise!!
When I felt the envelope, I didnt think the Keane book would be so bulky, I wondered.. what is this!
This is awesome! It goes back before I knew much about the team (heck, I was a young-un back then), I'm looking forwards to reading it. It should provide some interesting insights.

I am embarrassed by how long I have had this book! It sparked my mind today after Gizmopuddy and I chatted through Facebook so I went and searched it out at the back of my bookshelf, which is not where it belongs.

There's a lot of interesting history in this book, though I'll admit that most of it was when I was younger than 10 and not as exposed to the World Cup as I am today. There's not only a comprehensive history of Ireland's bid for the World Cup, but also some interesting tid bits related to soccer in general. When was the last time anyone remembers seeing Faroe Islands in the Cup?

A great little book, it's ready to be released!
