Race to 2,000,000.

Been reading this over lunches at work. It's going quite quickly. What's strange is that it's about a gold-digging dude marrying an older woman, and I just watched this week the film Cast a Dark Shadow (watch here), which is also about a young man/old woman marriage-for-money.

This was kind of a fun..suspense, shall I call it? It wasn't really a mystery since it was written from the viewpoint of nearly every major character. Everyone in the books seemed to be plotting something. Fun story. It read fast and I enjoyed it.
