Finally finished the last of these three Regency romances. Cheesy? yes. Rather fun? also yes.

Cecily: Actress tries to hide her past on stage and break her way into the ton. I read this one a while ago and don't really remember my reaction.

Georgina: My favorite one of the three. Georgina falls for the dastardly villan, rejected by polite society. Controversy controversy.

Lydia: By this point I've read three of Clare Darcy's novels and they were really starting to annoy me. Especially this one. Darcy's American Lydia was *too* frank and open and unconventional to even be likable. She just really annoyed me. I skimmed through the end of this one because I just couldn't stand to read it all, but I wanted to get it over with.

Clare Darcy's books are rather fun in moderation, but too much at once can lead to annoyance and frustration as many of her plots are similar. The unconventional, outspoken heroine falls for the dashing rake who is completely inappropriate. Together they flout society while...
a. hiding her past
b. stopping an elopement
c. ....nope, that's about it.

I didn't read the book, but I saw it in a crate in the Mill and the bookcrossing.com note on the cover intrigued me. - Shane Geiger
