Jack McEvoy is a Denver crime reporter with the stickiest assignment of his career. The Poet will keep readers holding their breath until the very end: the characters are multilayered, the plot compelling, and the denouement a true surprise. Connelly fans will not be disappointed. -

A good thriller, lots of twists and turns and, of course, the big surprise at the end.

If you like great suspense novels, then this one is for you. It will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat/bed etc till the end! But be forwarned, it is pretty gruesome in parts.
