This was the first book my Grandmother shared with me as a teenager, so it will always be special. It's a sweet story about a young pioneer woman who was recently widowed and now has to adjust to a new husband who she barely knows. This isn't a deep read but it's a nice happy read with a good ending. First in a series of eight books.
