Sinful

readable but only just! All of the men and women are rubber stamped from the how not to write characters book. The first story was particularly grating, with a character who had embraced the victorian era, crocheted with needles (!), and because a man told her felt liberated by the clothing of this era, it left a bad feeling in the back of my throat.
Hopefully it will amuse/entertain/find a better home.
Thankfully I got it with another book as a special deal in Oxfam!
Released at the March BookCrossingIE Meetup
picked up at march meetup
4 short stories, too short for the characters to be anything but caricatures. Diverting brain fodder though

Taking for a laugh and to foil another BCier as much as anything
Read on a glorious Sunday lying in the back garden, perfect drivel for such a day. Disappointed though that it was not as raunchy as the other Dublin bookcrossers had led me to believe - in fact it barely registers a raunch if you are a reader of Jackie Collins or Harold Robbins

Oh come on! I was promised steamy raunchiness of the highest order! Instead I got Emmelina and her tea table, and oh-dear-I-am-living-in-the-wrong-house (not really runing the plot for anyone here) and crocheting on the plane. How did she get on board with that dangerous sharp impliment? Why was Spike in the story at all? And how did she find time with all that button opening and closing, to have a close knowledge of the stock market??
Nothing like a good piece of fluff. And this was, indeed, nothing like good fluff!
However, I must admit that things improved greatly after that!! Second story not too bad, third and fourth very pleasantly passed an evening!!

RELEASE NOTES:
Well, I have kept this book for too long! It has been doing the rounds of the Dublin meet-up participants, so Gizmopuddy is doing to release it at the next meeting for me.
Happy reading ladies!!
I've had this book for WAY too long. Cute book, though I think the last two stories should have been separated since they were both about masks. I'll be releasing this book in Limerick as part of the All Around Ireland Challenge.
