RELEASE NOTES:
I got this book out of Cyberkedi's perpetual Sci-Fi bookbox. I will post a review ASAP.
Logan's Run is a decent science fiction story that reminded me a lot of P.K. Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. The plot moved along quickly, but I got the feeling that Logan and Jessica were constantly making miraculous escapes, and a lot of detail was being skipped over. I tend to gravitate towards long, detailed books, so this was a bit annoying. I haven't seen the movie made from this book, but I will probably rent it now, just to see what they did with it.

Truly fascinating picture of the future world -- shades of the movie Minority Report which was of course based on a Phillip K. Dick story. However, it just moved too fast over the interesting details, and the plot was facile. Since I was about 10 when the movie came out and can remember folks talking about it, it was a fun read.
