Bought and read this for the Redbook discussion group. It was sort of the reverse story as The Lovely Bones. The story is told in retrospect of the main charachter's life. She dies and we learn about how, in life, she affected the lives of others in the story. We also learn how things in her past, shaped the person she became. Overall, it was not my usual read but I did enjoy it. It's a quick read and set in the south - one of my favorite settings.
