In this first instalment of Davidson's 'cooking' mysteries, Goldy Bear's ex-father-in-law is poisoned and people suspect it's something she served that contained the poison. Naturally, that makes her a suspect. There are lots of other good suspects too, and Goldy sets out to find the culprit and save her catering business.

Good series book with some recipes to try.

For the time being, this book will become part of my private collection.

Recommendations:
Breakfast - French Toast.
Lunch - Clubhouse sandwich. They use real turkey. Yum. Served with salad, fries or half and half. The Greek salad is delicious.

These are the only two things I tried on the menu; both are excellent. If you go, take your appetite with you! The portions are enormous.

It's not a fancy restaurant, but reservations (even for breakfast) are recommended. They are busy, busy, busy.
