Received this in yesterday's mail. Although I have a huge pile of TBR, this looks very interesting, and I have heard much about it. I hope to get to it soon, and then pass it along!
Thanks so very much to froggiepopple for sharing this book with me!!

I will begin this book today, and hopefully finish in time to send to tomatolady for her Mbag to Canada for the winner-PaperbackPal. I wanted to add to tomatolady's gift to a Canadian reader. PaperbackPal won, and selected this book. I am finishing a book today, and will start this one today!

This was a good book. I found it to be a read that sticks with you, and makes you think. First about Afganistan, and then about friendship and family. Its one of those books that stays with me, which is rare.
I did find the foreign words a bit distracting in it, but got past that.
Not sure how I feel about the ending.....
Very glad I had the opportunity to read it, and now it goes forward on its next adventure!

I received this book in the M-Bag tomatolady sent me. I am absolutely thrilled that this book was included in it! I have been wanting to read it desperately! :) This will be the first book that I read from the M-Bag. Then my boyfriend will read it, then his mother, then I will move it to the OBCZ that I manage for others to enjoy! Thank you so much zizzr for sending it in the M-Bag!

PS: I am also PaperbackPal but I use this shelf for books from other Bookcrossers as they will be released again and I only use the PaperbackPal shelf for my own permanent collection and forums.

I couldn't stop reading this book until it was finished! I read straight through with only one tiny break LOL It was very interesting from beginning to end and had many twists, some expected and some surprises. I either loved the characters in the story or hated them passionately LOL Overall it was a great example of how the decisions a person makes can affect their entire lives. I didn't have any trouble with the arabic words because I already knew 99% of them, that helped :) It is a GREAT book for a fist novel, I look forward to more from this author.

The book will now be read by my boyfriend who wanted to read it before me but I grabbed it while he was on the last 3 pages of another book so he missed out being first! LOL

This book opened my eyes about the activity of the Taliban in Afghanistan. It was a good book. Interesting story about truth and consequences in family life. I would recommend this book.

The book is now returning to PaperbackPal
