Surplus from Hubby's sort out.
Sent out as a ray, but I am not insisting on a time limit on how long people keep these books. All I ask is if you think it is going to stay with you for a while let the others know. The last person on the list is free to choose how the book continues it's journey.

Received from catrionamoore. Will read and pass on.
Comprehensive guide to Ancient Egypt, but probably not an introductory level text. We found it informative and enjoyable.

Yay! The book is here. I'm looking forward to reading it. :)
An excellent read! This book was published roughly four years before she ventured into fiction writing but her sense of humor and skills as a writer show through in this non-fiction over-view of Egyptian history. It would be another ten years before she would publish her first Amelia Peabody mystery but this book shows a lot of sources of inspiration for the series.

This arrived by post this morning. Thanks, Caligula03 and catrionamoore. I am keen to dip in and out of it myself but also requested it for my boyfriend who is a complete history buff. I haven't decided yet how it will continue its journey - it will probably be with me for a few months (it's quite large) and I'll then open it up to the UK BookCrossing community.
My boyfriend really enjoyed this but I haven't had time to read it myself. I'm going to take it to a London BookCrossing meetup for others to enjoy.
