The cover description begins, "Based on an Athabascan Indian legend passed along fro many generations from mothers to daughters of the upper Yukon River area in Alaska, this is the suspenseful, shocking, ultimately inspirational talke of two old women abandoned by their tribe during a brutal winter famine."
It is a very good story. I enjoy reading Native American stories and the time has come to pass this one on.

A tale of "don't give up" and you can survive if you have to. I am planning to release it to a very good friend who has spent a lot of time in Alaska. I enjoyed it. Thanks KatetheGreyt for sending it to me.

A very short but powerful story. The old women are abandoned by their "people" to die due to a particularly harsh winter. However the women decide that at only 75 & 80 that they dont want to do.

This one one took me a hour or so to read but it was well worth it.

Was at the particular Company for a meeting. Was waiting in Reception and there was the book. I flicked through it and read the message inside and thought what a wonderful idea. I took the book and read it on my train journey to and from work. I am now releasing it and hope that someone else finds it and gets as nice a surprise as I did. What a wonderful idea to brighten up somebody's day.
