From the back cover:
When Benny meets Babe he has met his match!
Benny may be a wise guy, but Babe is at least three steps ahead of him. And he's on her territory. A townie in the country for the holidays, Benny must meet the challenge of country ways head-on. Not an easy task for a smart alec who never knows when to hold his tongue! Then the serious business of earning money arises - Babe just might consider Benny as a partner in her bait-collecting scam. But cool and collected as she is, Babe is not prepared for the problems thrown up by the fierce Furty Howlin!
And then Babe turns into a real girl - what is Benny to do?
Another hilarious story about Benny Shaw, already up to his ears in trouble in "Benny and Omar".

I read this book for the "reduce Mount-to-Be-Read-Challenge" (three words in the title).
I knew Benny Shaw from "Benny and Omar" already, but his new "partner" in the bait-hunting-business, Babe Meara, is even better!
It's a nice story about growing up and about what is really important in life...
Even Furty Howlin was a nice guy - in the end! The last 20 pages or so are really exciting!
It might be a bit difficult for my German pupils with all these Irish and slang terms, but I'll give it a try and put it in the class library. (Btw: my cover is different.)
