a walrus wandered by the sea
upon a day of leisure
and drew upon imagined sands
a tale for childish pleasure

'twas filled with creatures great and small
with tweedles dee and dum
and caterpillars wondering
what from our dreams may come

perhaps a lovely garden grows
behind that veiled door
and passage cross the threshhold is
desire to explore

where bottled drink can make you shrink
and cake can make you tall
there's room enough for witnessing
most anything at all
