I read this after the Da Vinci code and though enjoyable I think it shows it was an earlier work. Being a lapsed Catholic I quite liked the digs at the insitution too ;-)

A story of illuminati and the Vatican. Gripping, with a twist at the end. An easy, gripping read that I really enjoyed. Will pass onto Weebly when I see her next week.

Passed on by hand when katweeble came down for a lovely trip to the gym, soak in the jaccuzzi, meal, then quick visit to the OBCZ in Salcey Forest for a cuppa and to admire their lovely new book shelves.
I am just reading a book from my own shelf, but as soon as I am done this one is next up. Many thanks.

I really enjoyed this book - and did not want to put it down. I carried it around with me while I ferried the kids around and with the short chapters it was the perfect book to pick up and put down and read in short chunks.
I enjoyed the story - like the characters - and the twists just kept coming. Now I can't wait to read the rest of Dan Browns books - so katweeble get moving with that Da Vinci Code!
I will post this to Sandy early next week.

I have not been organised this week so haven't posted the book yet - you know - half term and all that. Hubby took the opportunity to nab it and he hasn't done much work the last couple of days as he couldn't put it down! He loved it and can't wait to read the rest of Dan Browns books now. I promise to get it posted by the weekend.
Thanks for this weebly and aubriel. I have another ring book which arrived before this, although I have to finish the German book I was reading before I start on that. I have one more essay to write, and then I can read as much as possible (at least thats the theory!). It may take a little time, but I should definately finish this before Easter.
I started this this morning and finished it about an hour ago - it was a gripping read, although I can't decide if it was better or worse than the Da Vinci code. I was a little disappointed at how many things I managed to guess before they happened, but there were still many unguessable twists. It just means I havn't done much work today (although I've not got much left) :) Will pass this on to willow03 when I have their address. Thanks.
Received a few days ago (I'm afraid my pc is dead at the moment) and have started it. May take me a little while as I don't have a lot of time to read at the moment but I'll do my best.
Thanks :D
Thanks :D
A good read - very similar in style to the Da Vinci Code (which I read first -lol) so if you like that one, you'll like this. Very easy to read. :D
Sending it on to Jaynereader (sorry for the delay - I got sidetracked - lol).
Enjoy!

It just arrived. Thanks aubriel and willow3, it's next on the list after my current read.
As others have said, it is a bit predictable in parts and I think if Langdon's blood turned to ice one more time I would have screamed, but the plot is good and it definitely keeps you reading.

This book was waiting for me when I got home this weekend. It's #2 on Mt TBR so I should get it moving again fairly soon. Thanks aubriel and Jaynereader for passing it along.

I thoroughly enjoyed this thrilling "romp" (for lack of a better word). I don't think anyone would say Dan Brown was a particularly intellectual writer, but for popular fiction I thought this was a great book. I didn't spot the main twist at the end until it was almost upon me - but I must admit other twists and turns were a little more obvious. There are also more holes in the plot than in a smelly Swiss cheese, but who cares?! It was entertaining, fun, gripping, and kept me engrossed all week!
Thanks for passing it along aubreil and jaynereader.
I've already contacted KittyNic for her address with no response. I'll try again to get it moving ASAP.

This arrived today and will be straight to the top of the TBR pile. Just going to finish my current read which shouldn't more than a couple of days. :-)
Thanks to Babs for my 'little' extra. You're a star!

I finished this at around half past one this morning as I couldn't put it down. Some parts were a little predicatable, but on the whole I really enjoyed the book with all it's twists and turns and the conflict between science and religion. Definitely recommended!
I'll be sending aubriel a message to find out where the book wants to go next.

I've passed this onto one of my colleagues at work to read thanks to aubriel. Here's hoping it gets her hooked into BookCrossing!

My colleague has finished this now and really enjoyed it so I'm going to try and get another of the series to entice her into reading more.
Thanks for letting me loan this out further, aubriel. Let me know what you'd like me to do with the book now?
