Often disturbing, sometimes disgusting. Comes off as a David Sedaris want-to-be minus the humor. A talented writer wasting his time writing about garbage.

I found this book very disturbing in places but yet very humorous in others. Yes, would I like to find his mother or the Dr. and slap them, how could anyone condone a 13 yr old having any type of sexual relationship with someone. But the way that he handles these things in his life as he looks back on them with humor is amazing. Then again, I have always thought that humor is what can keep us sane. I guess this shows that no matter what you grow up in or around you can survive.
