Really was charmed by this story. The author see-saws between childhood memories, adult madness and betrayal with ease. Although there was something about the plot that I just couldn't put my finger on, I would have never guessed the outcome in a squillion years.

Received the book by mail - October 02, 2002. I haven't read the book but am very much looking forward to it. I received a postcard of the Queen Mum with the book...which I enjoyed getting - I'm sure that I'll get much "royal entertainment" from this book!
